About Me
Finding Inspiration in Every Turn
I’m an amateur photographer based in the Lake District, and my journey behind the camera started in the most ordinary and meaningful way. I originally bought a camera to capture my kids’ football games, freezing those fast, muddy, unforgettable moments on the pitch.
When they grew up and the matches stopped, I suddenly found myself with a camera in my hands and no idea what to point it at.
Living in the Lake District, it felt almost ridiculous that I’d never truly explored the place I call home. So I started walking, first out of curiosity, then out of habit, and eventually out of love. The more I wandered, the more I realised how much beauty I’d been missing. Photography became my way of slowing down, noticing the details, and appreciating the landscapes I’d taken for granted.
Now I spend my time discovering new paths, revisiting old favourites, and capturing the moments that make this part of the world so special. I’m still learning, still experimenting, and still enjoying every step of the journey.
